‘m all virussed !
I am feeling oh-so-sick. My head feels a bit heavy, my eyes smart a little, my forehead feels warmer than usual, ‘m all cough-y, my back aches some and my legs feel somewhat wobbly. I think this is a viral-something that’s making the rounds for the last week or so. All in all, rather annoying.
But the worst bit is --- I haven’t been able to write a line of my fic today. And that’s really exasperating !
Instead, I went all collage-y today and made a wallppr-sort of thingy.
Once, I had been to a charming little place that lies well past the outskirts of the city and saw the most fascinating little pond, cool and green and shaded, full of Salvinia, AND sporting the most beautiful red lotus I’ve ever seen, live, or virtual. It’s stuck in my mind since then, and I’ve tried to draw it atleast once a year, but could never get the effect right.
Somehow, this thing I was just making up at random finally got hold of the effect ! --- altho’ there had been only one lotus in the pond, and in this wallppr-thingy, there are several, in varying poses. I feel sort of pleased.
I’ll try to get the single lotus and Salvinia effect in another pic.
Apart from that --- to quote the teen-fandom, ‘life sux’ --- coz my back is still aching, and now the back of my neck is beginning to ache too.
