I went to my profile after a long, long time. And what do I see ? Wow, people have given me gifts here in lj :) :) :)
'Pretty present with blue ribbon' and 'adorable puppy' from cordeliadelayne.
'Snowflake cookie' from melusin_79.
'Tower of gifts' and 'box of chocolates' from winterwater.
('m not putting up name of latest lj even though winterwater is deleted now because the gifts show the name 'winterwater')
'Tall glass of root beer' from arrmaitee.
Thank you so much, all of you. It's lovely to land up on the gifts this season :) :)
Someplace I have applied to (the one I mentioned in my earlier f-locked post :D) acknowledged my application :D :D I wish they'd give me the situation instead. The subject's around halfway interesting, at least. And hopefully doesn't involve idiots or criminals.
Also, I wouldn't be strip-searched at the airport/s involved, which is a major draw.
Just finished reading 'I Shall Wear Midnight'. Now I'll have to think about whether I want to buy it when the paperback comes out *Fingers sparkly still-very-new paperback of 'Unseen Academicals'*
