Good Lord, guess where I found a quite young Jude Law ! In Jeremy Brett's 'Shoscombe Old Place'. No wonder he got back on to the Sherlock Holmes bandwagon :) I hated that film, btw. Absolutely. Anyone other than Brett as Holmes makes me feel completely confused and icky. Oh well.
And I am now applying for a scholar's programme anyone in my position would give an eye and an arm for, and have a snowflake's chance in hell of getting through, but I'll finish the application anyway - following which I will get back to being depressed because I don't have the remotest chance of getting through.
I seriously, seriously need to get rid of some comms in lj I no longer want to be associated with. But I have no time to give to doing that nowadays. I can't believe that's actually true. Btw, reccing this lovely post at DW. Go read it, everyone.
