The 1938 Orson Welles broadcast posted on YouTube. Ignore the fact that the poster didn't spell Welles' name properly. Just listen:

PART TWO:

PART THREE:

PART FOUR:

PART FIVE:

PART SIX:

THE END:

I've had it on tape for years already.

I've found it on CD, but wanted it accessible wherever I was, so I was glad to find it so readily on the web like that. Kind of hard to listen to (like an old 8-track, really) when it's divided up into parts like this, but it's all still there.

Glad to hear from you, Jens. I trust all is well...

Yeah, getting along. And dealing with the Death Note habit you put me on. Did you know there are two live-action movies?

You're blaming me? I only pointed it out, and it was really the story that created the habit... ^_____^ I've read that the story's finished in Japan, and I'm hoping that the ending will be as compelling as the series has been so far. I wonder what I'll find to replace it when it's gone, the bar's so high now I just don't know...

I've seen the clips on YouTube for the live action (the Shinigami look AWEsome) and I've bookmarked the anime, but haven't found the time to watch. I'm trying to get back into the habit of reading more (and with more variety), rather than spending as much time as I was watching things on teh INtarwub.

And writing.
