Rain and Lightning
Since the weather I expected this afternoon is here this morning, no walkies for me like I normally would. Instead, here's something to make us laugh in case you missed it on SNL:
Is it appropriate to call for Mrs. Palin to withdraw or for McSame to yank her out? I don't know, but if she left the campaign, I'm sure there'd be a collective "Whew!" from the entire country. No one thinks either candidate for President (and I'm behind Barack's decision to not talk about Mrs. Palin) won the debate outright on Friday, but my opinion is that Obama was far more collected and while not specific on several points at least was honest in not saying things like "freeze spending but for defense" and other 'key' things. Reality is that there will have to be spending (like the $700B Congress is going to vote for today) but there also has to be solution to the problem that created the need to spend like this. That's where Obama won, in my book.
