Philip started a nice trend in his LJ, and I've been thinking a lot about the questions that he's raised. So from here on out, my LJ is going to still contain some random shit from my skull, but will be primarily dedicated to important concepts that I want my friends to discuss, learn, and discover all there is to find out based upon our little Niceville world.
I'd like to continue our fact stream with a few basic concepts that Sara Foraker actually introduced. The coorelation between Satanism and Buddhism is actually fundamentally on the same level...but so is everything. She deduced that Christianity is also in line with this thought process. That being, self-preservation comes before all things. Now before you get pissed off, and slam your keyboard to go pray...only moments later to begin jerking off to pictures of Jesus...listen to my logic.
Christianity teaches that through Jesus, you can obtain salvation, and only through him. Which means that, if you want some kind of future, you have to believe that Jesus is actually not only a man, but also an invisible giant, and also the air that encompasses us? Well...that's cool and all. But what about everyone else? Oh, you're supposed to 'save' them too. if you save them, according to Deuteronomy, and Revelations, you will earn more 'crowns' in heaven. So by leading people on to believe about an invisible man, you get to be better than other people in heaven. Stop. Hammer time. So I guess I'm saying that Chrisitianity just teaches that you should do whatever you can to be a defender of the faith, so you can always look down on other people? Wait...that's a loop hole. That can't be right. So the bible is essentially teaching basic human instincts. Man will always want to be superior to other men...which is why we kill each other, which is why there is social hierarchy, which is why there are poor people..and generally people just don't get along very well...because let's face it, all of us have that fat kid, or that retard friend that makes us feel better about ourselves. Sounds kinda like Christianity is just teaching us what we already knew...that we're animals...and that's it. We're not divine animals like Job, or John thought he learned...nope...we just like to be plain superior to everyone.
But don't come to burn my house down with your fiery cross yet. Jesus was one of the most influential, great, and prominent men, of all time. But the fact remains...he was a liberal Jew. That's where it stops. If everyone did what Jesus said, the world would live in harmony. But no...we get the Crusades, Holy Wars, Jihads, Iraq...oops did I just say that? Anyways...no sympathy for the devil. Even though I don't believe in him. There is no sin.
