"She doesn't hate you" Callie says trying to calm Erica down.
"She doesn't even want to be around me. What do you call that?" Erica says trying to stop crying
"I call that a bad reaction. She's just upset that you kept this from her. We all kept this from her. I mean I'm pretty sure that she doesn't like me very much right now."
Before Erica could reply she heard her cell phone ringing from her bedroom. They both got up and began walking towards Erica's bedroom. When they got there Elise had already answered the phone and was handing it to Erica.
"It's mom." Elise said looking at Erica sadly. Erica sighed and took the phone from Elise.
"Hey, Mom"
"Sweetie, what happened? Erin just called crying. She asked me if she could stay with me for a few days. What's going on?"
"She found out about Callie and I." Erica says.
"How?"
"Callie spent the night and she found us in bed together this morning. Before you jump to conclusions all we did was sleep."
"Well, good. Anyway, do you mind if Erin stays?" Angela asks her daughter quietly.
"Well, I would prefer that she not but... she's really upset and needs some time away from me so...yeah, she can stay a few days." Erica says sadly.
Just as she says this she can hear Erin walking up the stairs. She mentally braces herself, not knowing what is going to happen.
Erin walks to her room and just looks at her mom with red-rimmed eyes. It breaks Erica's heart to see her like this. After they look at each other for a while Erin begins to continue walking back to her room.
"Honey, are you still there?" Angela says.
"Uh...yeah sorry about that." Erica says to her mom.
"Well, tell Erin that I will be there in about fifteen minute."
"Okay, mom I will."
Before she hangs up Angela has one last thing to say.
"Erica?"
"Yes?"
"Everything will turn out all right, baby, I promise."
"Thanks. I love you."
"I love you,too."
