"Oh, my God, mom, I thought you were going to die! I thought I was going to lose you." Erin said as she held on to her mom as tight as she could. "I am fine, sweetie, okay?" Erica said while hugging her daughter. "Okay, it's my turn to hug her." Angela said while walking over to her daughter's hospital bed.. "I am so thankful that you are okay. Erin told us that you were going to be okay. She told us that you weren't going to leave us." Erica looks at Erin and remembers when she told her daughter that. "Right after you're dad died..." "Yeah." Erin said looking at her mom with tears in her eyes. "Callie, do I get a hug or what?" Erica asks. Callie was standing off to the side waiting patiently for her turn with Erica. Callie walks over to Erica and hugs her. "I am so glad that you didn't die. Who else is going to buy my drinks?" They both laugh. "I need to talk to you alone whenever we get the chance." Callie whispers. "Okay." Callie pulls back from the hug. "Dalila do I get a hug from you or your mom?" Dalila goes over to Erica and hugs her, almost crying. "I was so scared that you were going to die." "Well, I didn't." Once Dalila pulls back Karen walks over to Erica, kisses her on the cheek, and finally hugs her. Callie feels a flare of jealousy inside of her. Nobody notices that someone was watching from the doorway. "Is it my turn now?" Everybody turns towards the doorway and sees that Elise is standing there. Callie finally sees how much they look exactly alike. More alike than in the picture Erica showed her. "What are you doing here?" Angela asks her other daughter. "She's my emergency contact. When I arrived at the hospital, I guess they called her." Erica says. Elise walks over to her sister and hugs her. When she pulls back she notices Callie. "Elise this is Callie Torres. She is my friend and also a doctor here." "Nice to meet you." Callie says. Elise nods. Elise looks at Erin and Dalila and holds her arms open. "How are my two favorite nieces?" Erin and Dalila walk into her arms and hug her. After they pull back from the hug Dr. Derek Sheppard and Dr. Miranda Bailey walk into the room with no emotion on their faces. Erica knows that something is wrong.
