Hiya. I went to this lecture today at the university because it was about Harry Potter and foreign politics. ANd also because my friend Julie arranged it and invited me. This Professor Iver Neumann was giving it. Unfortunately, the time for the lecture was really bad for most of the people taking that subject so in during the first half hour we were only four. This means we had a really small and cosy gathering in a room kalled "the club" and it really looked like a club too.
Wow! I've never been to a club before.
The lecture was interesting. I can't say I agreed with all he said, thouhg. Or rather, the idea is true but not revolutionary, but I think I rather disagree with the arguments. It was okay. My presence at the lecture seemed to be quite confusing to the professor, thouhgh.
PR. NEUMANN: So... It's only going to be the four of us, then?
JULIE: Yes, the first years have this other obligatory lecture now.
PR. NEUMANN: I take it you are not first years?
JULIE: No. Me and him *points at per ivar* are third years but Ayna doesn't study international (whatever that subject is called in English)
PR. NEUMANN: What do you study, then?
AYNA: I am on sick leave until after Christmas, so I don't do anything.
PR. NEUMANN: But what do you study when your're not on sick leave?
AYNA: I don't study.
PR. NEUMANN: But then what do you do?
AYNA: ...
PR. NEUMANN: ...
AYNA: I... work?
PR. NEUMANN: OH! ... I see.
*pause*
PR. NEUMANN: So, you're only interested in Harry Potter?
AYNA: Well...
That was strange.
Anyway, he is strange.
