I ate waaaaaaaaay too much

I was finally brave and made lasagna and it was pretty damn good... Definitely not bad for a first try but then I think it's actually in my genetic code (though my family would have bitched about the lack of meat). I sent Mike home with a big chunk of it otherwise I'm going to make a complete glutton out of myself. I only get it about once a year so when I do, I make the most of it (any guesses what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow?). Along with that we had salad, bread (I finally found a decent sourdough here) and a bottle of merlot. We watched Cars and Finding Nemo (Mike's picks).

It was nice to have two days off but I was so busy it flew by. I looked at four apartments yesterday... two were a waste of time (one was low income - you think they could have told me this before I went in and one had a price range of $850-1095 on a 600 sq ft one bedroom and the leasing agent seemed like he couldn't be bothered) the other two were okay but small (the aesthetically nicer of the two had the smallest kitchen I've ever seen outside a motorhome, the other didn't have a wall long enough for the big blue sofa of Kaos)... The more I look the more I think the place I saw last month is it. What I'm finding interesting is that a couple of the leasing agents were shocked that I make enough to afford anything bigger than a studio by myself. I have another to look at after the first of the year but it's another manager that doesn't seem to really care. It's really discouraging. I'm beginning to think I should just put up with the traffic and noise where I'm at.

Time for bed, so I can get to the office at a reasonable hour tomorrow...
