HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!

School is still more than a week away... the girls start back on the 4th of Feb.
They have been really good over the holidays. I don't think it's hurt that there's a good mixture of outdoor and indoor activities to keep them occupied. Although, at times, there's complaint of having nothing to do. It's a kid thing isn't it?!
Emma has decided that she likes the look of tennis and would like to give it a go when we can organise it during the year.  We're willing to give her a chance to see if she really likes it and is willing to put in the time.
Aly's still into baby dolls. She turned 7 a couple of days ago and can hardly wait to go to the shop to spend her birthday money and no doubt she will get something for her baby doll.
I've had the operation now and am on the mend. It was slow going there for a few days as the tenderness settled and it didn't hurt as much to move. Joshua for one is pleased that I'm doing better as he was missing the cuddles and time with mum.
So with it being a public holiday today, Mark has the day off and is spending time with the kids.
We've planned a BBQ lunch. It's quite a cool day outside but that's ok.
The weather has been really strange lately with humidity here and real hot days in the mix but then heaps of rain too. It's not just good weather for ducks but the grass seems to be enjoying it too.
