He was sitting on his bed, his back against the wall and his eyes closed, with speakers plugged into his ears. A faint noise of the loud music he was listening to was filling the room. He'd no idea Angie was there.

Angie slipped into the room and was about to speak again when she saw he hadn't even noticed her coming in.

Walking towards the bed she thought about getting his attention by sitting down but didn't. Instead Angie leaned over and gently kissed his lips, then pulling back to be able to see his eyes open.

His eyes snapped open when he felt the kiss, not expecting to look directly into her eyes. Miles grinned nonetheless.

Tugging out the earphones, he kissed her back quickly. "Need something?"

Angie shook her head and sat back a bit.

"Just wanted to say sorry." She told him with a rather kind smile.

His brow knitted for a second before relaxing as he understood what she was talking about.

"'Kay." Not wanting to argue Angie moved until she was sitting beside Miles on the bed, back against the headboard.

"But I wanted to." Grinning a bit she watched him out of the corner of her eyes.

ooc: the funny part is that I looked at it and went 'Who the fuck is responding?!'

He gave her a grin. "Thank you," he said simply before turning himself and laying down so his head was on her lap.

Lifting her arm her fingers smoothing slowly over the skin just below his hairline she looked down as Miles lay his head on her lap.

"So tell me stranger," Her lips were still curved into a soft smile. "How are you?"

He tilted his head slightly as he looked up at her. "I like that smile," he told her as-a-matter-of-factly. "You need to smile like that more often."

He kissed back for a while before he pulled back with a smirk. "Never mind, you can stay I reckon for a bit more."

"Oh good, I was beginning to worry." Her head lifted up a bit, eyes glancing to the headphones not far from where she was now sitting.

"What were you listening to?"
