I love my new SmartPhone! :-)
So I had plenty of time to think about things, and I'm not that mad at said old roommate anymore. Apparently, he told me the story because he wanted me to know that he's a good person who wudn't stab me in the back and that he'd never tried to date Michelle even when Ben tried to set him up. Regardless, I still fucking hate Ben and he can die and rot in hell for eternity.
Anyways, enough said about that.
Yesterday, I cooked Indian food (biryani) for about 15 people, most of them Turkish, a couple Russians, a couple Indians and our American hosts. Our host, Dave, heads an international friendship group aimed at helping international youth visiting the US and giving them a chance to experience American culture and hospitality. He wanted to do something special for Elif's birthday which was last weekend, so he invited everyone over to his house for dinner. He arranged for the ingredients and I cooked, with some help cutting onions etc from Bonnie :-) Needless to say, lol, everyone loved it. I cook pretty well, not to be too cocky or anything.
Last weekend, when Elif and I went to OldTown, I saw this little stuffed red devil that I liked and I showed it to her- and last nite when she came to Dave's, she brought me one! Definitely a sweet girl. Just before dinner, I stepped out to smoke and she came outside with me, and a couple of brief kisses turned into a make-out session right outside the main door, and all of a sudden, the door opened! I froze for a second, then I couldn't stop laughing... It was only Bonnie, and I thought it was hilarious.. Elif, on the other hand was in a state of shock for a few minutes.. It would have been a little awkward if it had been Dave, cuz he's a 40 year old man with three teenage kids.. I don't think he would have appreciated people making out right on his front porch.. lol
Dinner was fine, then they brought out the cake, and what not.. Fairly fun evening, I enjoyed it.. I met this one kid who goes to the same university I went to in Turkey and we talked about the state of affairs of that school for a good while.
Tonite, I was supposed to go to Ian's shindig, but I cudn't land a ride so I stayed in and decided to write this instead... lol I should be going to bed since I have to wake up bright and early... Someone's counting on me being late and I'd love to prove her wrong.. lol
