They don't meet in Crowley's office, not usually. Transit times between Osiris and Lavinia are laughably small - one to the other, a meeting, and back again is a day trip, a weekend at most. And when Gabriel Tam comes to Lavinia, they don't meet in Crowley's office. They meet in Crowley's apartment.
Neutral ground is a funny thing; in his big sprawling office, atop the Bentley Aeronautics tower, behind his massive, dark desk, Crowley has power. His apartment could as easily be anybody's - a hotel room, even, with a better-stocked bar and greener potted plants.
Currently, the low, wide coffee-table in Crowley's subtly sterile living area is strewn with paper - digital and hardcopy - discreet black binders, an empty plate, and two large, half-full coffee mugs.
