Change is good

Did you guys know that it's the year of the Rat? Yep.  MYYYYYY year.  So therefore, I need a change.  I've been pondering and pondering on what kind of change it should be...but knowing me, I'm chicken shit when it comes to change.

Change my address? Nah.  We just moved.  Change my job? Engh, can't picture myself working with a whole new set of weirdos.  Change my boyfriend? Ha-ha, let's not go there again.  Change my journal? Thinking about it (don't worry, I'll let you guys know before I change that).  Change my look? Yeah! I should definitely do that! I should cut my hair.  My hair is just about at waist length and I've had it long for centuries now.  I'm so bored with this thing.  I rarely do anything to it.  I don't have the time to do anything to it, that's why.  So...I'll get it cut maybe up to my shoulders, or a little shorter than that? Oooooooh.  That's pretty ambitious.  I have to be very brave to do thaaatt.  But I think I will do it.

I was chatting with my boss Sunday afternoon at our Hugo Boss shop (I can actually have a conversation with that man without fiddling with my nose.  But I'll tell you guys more about that in another episode).  We got into the subject of change.  He said he's the type of person who embraces change, whether it be moving to another city or country, or just simple changes like appearance.  And I'll never forget the last thing he said to me, "Change is good, Ann."  I really soaked myself into that one, because all my life I've always been afraid of change.  Can you imagine? For the last 20 years I've NEVER had any other kind of pizza topping other than pepperoni and bacon??? For real, I'm not joking.  I've never had mushrooms, pineapple (yuck), and what else do they put in pizza anyway? Well it doesn't matter, I've never had anything else other than those two.  That's how close-minded I am.  I say it's about time I change something.  I know that changing the bigger things will take time...so I'll start with baby steps.

So what do you guys think of these?

This is pretty much how my hair is.  Long, straight (but naturally wavy), and boring.

This is choice number 1.  It's cute, isn't it? I love this cut!

And this is choice number 2.
Almost the same as number 1, but with bangs.
I already have bangs now, well, they're grown out.
But we'll trim it down to suit the cut if need be.

If I choose number 2, I'll still be able to tie up my hair.  So I'm leaning towards that.  But I'm just not sure if it will suit my oval face.  What do guys think? Should I take the plunge or just stick to my long hair? I love my long hair, but I just don't have the time to do anything to it.  And besides, I normally just wear it straight and down anyway.  Jun is sad, he loves my long hair.  But whatever.  Hair grows back.

God...this is going to feel so liberating! I can just feel it.  The freedom! No more half an hour of straightening...no more 3 bottles of hair dye just to cover my whole entire head...no more hair getting stuck in car doors (don't ask).  Just imagine! After this, I really might just have the guts to order mushrooms on my pizza! Well...we're getting ahead of ourselves here now.
