Review - Percy Jackson
THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS!!
First of all: I LOVE how they sticked to the facts of Greek Mythologie.
Now, I'm not really a woman of many words here on the interwebs, typing this story. (please bear that in mind xD)
I didn't really picture Mr. Bean (Sean) as Zeus, but he did okay. He did not really had that powerful almighty God feeling, but he did it quite good.
And for Hermes: He was Blond. At least, I always thought he was blond because of this picture of this game.
This is how I pictured the Gods and Goddesses in my mind.
Nonetheless, they were a bit different, but okay.
a few things made me LOL very much
1. Big Mike - being the middle head of the Hydra and all, never expected that xD You Go Big Mike!
2. The Supernatural reference. I don't think this was a particular one, but Highway to Hell was kind of two side minded. They were going to Hades to see Hades, Dean in his car on the Highway to his own Hell.
3. GOD those gods must be horny to have THAT MANY KIDS! D: how can one cope, whilst have 32 kids and you can never meet them. Poor kids have 31 siblings too, that must be space invading.. *grumbl*
But I really liked this movie. This was the first time in ages I've seen such a good book adaption since Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and the LotR trilogy. Maybe this movie was this good because Chris Columbus was the director of it all.
Well, I'm certainly looking forward to the next one, so let's all hope that it will be as good as the first!
