A Little Depressed
I'm having a wonderful time, getting back to writing :) And of course I write what interests/appeals to me. But when I post, I look forward to getting C&C. Not because it gives me a warm fuzzy (though I won't deny that it does) but because it's how I can improve myself as a writing. As nice an ego stroke as "That's awesome! Write moooorrrrrreeeee!" is, it doesn't tell me what about the story worked for the person. And even more important is finding out what DOESN'T work for people.
So here I am to ask with all sincerity that if you read one of my fics, please let me know what you think. And don't worry, I'm not a shrinking violet; you're not going to hurt my feelings. Please help me become a better writer.
