When Taiwanese actress Kelly Lin married suddenly on Mar 22 to businessman Chris Young, many speculated that it was a shotgun marriage. It seems like they might be right.
According to the Taiwanese media, Kelly was already three months' pregnant on the day of her wedding. The actress had held her wedding ceremony on the beach, where she did not have to wear high heels.
It is believed that Kelly left a message on her microblog recently because she was worried that news of her pregnancy would be revealed if she did not start work soon.
"Cleaning up my holiday mood and preparing for work," the actress wrote.
She then uploaded photos of herself wearing different styles of clothes. However, netizens are saying that she is currently concentrating on her pregnancy and that "busy working" is a false front.
The reports also said that Kelly, who is due to give birth in October, had rejected various jobs including a movie role. It is believed that the actress and her husband are currently waiting for the renovations for their new home to be completed before moving in.
When interviewed, Kelly's manager expressed, "She is currently looking at scripts. She will work when she needs to, and fly when she needs to. They're letting nature take its course when it comes to having children."
