Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung was reportedly affected by her ex-husband,
Nicholas Tse’s reconciliation with his old flame Faye Wong, and
cried while on the phone with her ex-manager Tiffany Chen.
But the 34-year-old, who relocated to Singapore early this year with her sons, Lucas Tse, 7, and Quintus Tse, 4, was seen bringing them out for a meal on Monday. The three even posed for photos under the requests of fans, and she did not seem affected by news of the reconciliation at all.
On the same day, a netizen revealed his conversation with Tiffany and said, “The reports from Hong Kong are fake, there is no such thing (that Cecilia cried).”
Cecilia’s current manager shared that she is currently resting and thanked the public for their concern.
Responding to how
Cecilia had blamed Nicholas for not visiting their sons, the actor’s manager, Mani Fok, said, “He is actually working hard to save up for his sons.”
“Speaking as a woman and not Nicholas’s manager”, Mani felt sad for Cecilia and hopes “she can let go and understand. When she is happy, her sons benefit as they can grow in a positive environment and she can open her heart for a second love too”.
Insiders revealed that when
the celebrity couple divorced in 2011, they had an agreement where Nicholas cannot reveal his new love interest if he finds one within the next five years.
While Cecilia felt that this was for the sake of their sons, others guessed it was to give herself a chance to get back together with Nicholas.
