Blue Lan and Jade Chou are officially married
Less than a week after announcing their marriage plans, Taiwanese celebrity couple Blue Lan and Jade Chou said their “I Dos” at the Registry of Marriages in Yonghe, Taipei on Saturday (May 17).
The couple, who has dated for less than a year, showed up at the administrative office at around 11am. Although Blue and Jade were casually dressed as compared to their friends who were present to witness the event, they were beaming with happiness and took photos as mementos.
In the afternoon, Blue made on official announcement on his microblog and wrote: “I’ve crossed the halfway mark in life after turning 35 this year. Today, my other half will join the second part of my life. I am very happy. Thanks everyone for the concern! Welcome Mrs. Lan!”
Also, the actor expressed his gratitude for his wife’s support during his “lowest point in life”. “Miss Chou, thank you for staying beside me and for walking me out of the dark period! I’m sincerely thankful,” Blue added.
The newlyweds were hounded by reporters when they left their house later that day. When asked on wedding plans, Blue revealed that the banquet would most likely be held next year. “I’m flying to Beijing tomorrow. After I return in July, we’ll arrange it according to our schedules,” he explained.
Rumours are rife that the couple had hurriedly tied the knot as Jade is pregnant. To refute the claims, Blue and Jade headed to the basketball court for a game, where the actress was seen vigorously running about.
Blue, however, admitted that he loves children and hopes to have three kids in the future.
