Nicholas Tse and Zhou Xun deny dating rumours
Following reports of Nicholas Tse and Zhou Xun's alleged romance, the managers of both actors have stepped forward to refute the claims stating that the pair has been dating for the past one year and are cohabiting in Nicholas’ apartment in Hong Kong.
According to an insider source, Nicholas and Zhou Xun first met at an underground rock music party in Beijing late last year; the actress, who holds a Hong Kong identity card, travels frequently to the city for work.
It was reported that the 38-year-old started visiting Hong Kong on a regular basis after she started dating Nicholas. Sources also claimed that the pair’s relationship is an open secret within the industry.
Nicholas rejected all interviews at an event yesterday and said, “Don’t believe what you read in the papers.” His manager then clarified the rumours on his behalf, saying, “Nicholas has been single ever since he got divorced.”
“It is true that they (Nicholas and Zhou Xun) stay in the same building. But they are definitely not dating,” he emphasised.
Reports also stated that Nicholas’ ex-wife Cecilia Chung, who hopes for reconciliation, recently relocated to Canada with their sons, Lucas and Quintus Tse, out of resentment after finding out about the new romance.
In response to the claim, Nicholas’ manager explained that Cecilia moved to Canada only after Nicholas agreed to it, and that the latter would fly over to visit his sons whenever he has time. Cecilia’s manager, when contacted, also said that “there is nothing to verify about a false piece of news”.
Similarly, Zhou Xun’s manager insisted that the actress is not in a relationship and that the two artistes are “just friends”. \
