Hong Kong actor Louis Koo surprised many when he recently revealed that he has been suffering from memory loss since his birth.
According to a report on ET Today, the 42-year-old disclosed, "My condition is caused by oxygen deficiency when I was in my mother's womb during pregnancy. But it got worse when I was involved in a car accident in secondary school."
The actor stated that the accident caused him to suffer from temporary loss of memory and vision. He explained, "My condition has improved through long-term medication, but I still have the amnesia."
The actor cited one incident with Charlene Choi when they were filming "Triple Tap", saying, "I told her we had collaborated in two to three films before this. But she corrected me and said that we had actually worked together in nine films. That's when I realised how bad my memory is."
However, the actor chose to see the positive side of the problem, saying that he is able to forget the bad things that have happened, which reduces the amount of stress he feel while filming.
