Richie Jen marries girlfriend
Taiwanese singer-actor Richie Jen recently admitted that he has married Tina, his girlfriend of two decades.
As reported by Asian Fanatics, Richie and Tina have recently registered their marriage after being together for 20 years and that they are currently planning their lavish yet modest wedding affair.
The 47-year-old star revealed that he came to his decision while he accompanied his daughter shopping at bridal boutiques.
"When we were there, I kept picturing her in a bridal gown in future and it makes me happy to think about it. It then occurred to me that Tina's father must be disappointed, because I have been with his daughter all these years but has never proposed to her. That's why I decided to make the leap," the actor said.
Richie added light-heartedly, "If my daughter does the same with her boyfriend in future, I will take that as retribution!"
Richie and girlfriend Tina met when they were still studying at the Chinese Culture University. They have been together ever since and have two children together.
