Huang Xiao Ming resumes filming despite fracture
In order to avoid delay in film production fo The Bride with White Hair 3D, Huang Xiao Ming insisted on returning to work his latest movie after two months of rest. The production crew commended his professionalism after they found out the Chinese actor was supposed to recuperate for at least four months before resuming any regular activities.
Xiao Ming is currently filming more than eight hours everyday, but the self-proclaimed workaholic is enjoying every moment on set and reportedly felt delighted to act again.
Due to his leg injury, the 35-year-old found it challenging to shoot several intimate scenes with Chinese co-star, Fan Bing Bing. He could only remain in a fixed position and make use of his upper body to act with the actress. His legs would ache as a result of staying in a fixed position and the actor would turn to painkillers to ease his discomfort.
The Chinese "number one heartthrob" has reassured the crew, stressing that he recently visited the doctor and "his leg's condition is not bad".
Xiao Ming fell from three metres above ground while filming a fighting scene i The Bride With White Hair 3D n November last year. He suffered from a comminuted fracture in two toes on his left foot and had inserted six intramedullary nail into his fractured toes.
Although his doctor reportedly advised the actor to rest for at least three months, Xiao Ming returned to work last month and even attended the press conference for his movi The Last Tycoon n Shanghai while wheelchair-bound.
