Hawaii for Spring Break

Finally bought tickets for Hawaii last Friday! 3/16 - 3/26... 11 days! Possibly joining the geo people so that we can poke at lava and slide down the volcanoes. Definitely going up Mauna Kea to play with big toys... I mean telescopes. I love you for the generous funds, astro department! :)

Yeah, I am indeed an astronomy/astrophysics (same thing... on this campus at least) major. There are at least 4 other seniors going; we're all looking forward to it!

oh cool! which island? (not that I'm very familiar with Hawaiian geography) I just know that I'm going to the Big Island, and then possibly taking a few days off and visiting UH Manoa on whichever island it's on...

hehe, indeed I know who you were as soon as I saw your username since I actually remembered it from the Lloyd website. :) I didn't know you could see my room from yours though! (unless you were typing that comment at a laptop in the VI hallway... :P)
