Grrrrrr....... It's 7 AM, and I've already been up for almost a half hour. No fair! See, Tigger left about 6:30, and did his usual snuggle with me for a minute before he left. I was drifting back to sleep when the whirr of the automatic litter box started. It woke me, but I wasn't concerned since I knew it would quit soon. Well, it kept going and going and going. I was forced to get up and stop it, clean the box myself, and then watch it to make sure it ran ok. Turns out that Tigger decided to fill the box, but doesn't really know how and overfilled it. The tines couldn't get through the extra litter and got stuck. If it gets stuck, the tines go back to their starting place and then start the cycle again, until the box is cleaned, which never happens if the box is too full. Well, once I was up and my eyes were open, I couldn't get back to sleep. So now I'm stuck awake and it's 7 AM. I don't have class this morning and could have slept in!
