Hikago Fic Meme

May 15, 2014 20:57

flonnebonne wants to turn this into a meme. I'll oblige. ^_^ This is a Hikago-only meme!

Fave serious fic:
I should totally have asked for the definition of serious fic. O_o Um. I may like Coming Home a little more than I should.

Fave comedy fic:
Hehe.  I'm pretty sure Kikashi is my favorite comedy fic.

Fic I need to revise:
Hotel Starlight.  Need to, but never will.

Fic I will probably never finish:
Pearly Gates keeps dropping further and further down on my priorities list.  Never say never, but in this case... even not-never is a long time.

Fic I should probably finish:
I will probably write more of Numbered... but it will probably also be a very long time before anything happens.  Sadly for the fic, it's been on hold since 2007.  T_T  I really need to get more written.

Fic idea I'll never write:
Um... I don't think I will ever write an AkiHika love story.  There are quite enough of those, and I tend to write what I want to read.  I don't like re-inventing the wheel.  ^_^;

Fic with the most reviews on FF.net:
Not all of my Hikago work is posted on FFN, and honestly, my fics are on three archives(!), so here are three(!) answers.  On FFN, my most-reviewed Hikago fic is Numbered (most of them asking me to continue the fic! XD)  Based on AO3 comments, my most-reviewed Hikago fic would be Soccer.  On LJ, Crossing Boundaries (the fic was originally posted on LJ, but the link goes to AO3) wins through sheer numbers (chaptered fic tends to get the comments coming!)

Fic I've gotten the most positive feedback on:
Crossing Boundaries, but I suspect most of that was because of Maaya rather than because of me.  ^_^  So if we're talking solo fic... huh, good question.  I think A Deeper Calm had some of the most positive feedback (most of it on LJ), but in Hikago fandom people tend to be so nice about comments!

First Hikago fic:
Um.  *has to reach deep into the recesses of her mind and her archives*  Egad, it was Go Past Him, written and posted on March 27, 2007.  My one and only genderswitch fic was also my first fic in Hikago.  O_o  Wow, that blows my mind.

How my writing has Hikago writing has changed over the years:
That's a good question.  I don't actually think I could tell you the answer.  I've gotten more irreverent and adventurous--I write a lot more about minor characters now than I used to.  I would like to think that my writing skill in general has improved.  Other than that... if someone else feels like telling me... ^_^ Cross-posted; click here to reply on Dreamwidth (
comments so far).
