I know, I know... Haven't posted in waaaay too long and shit. But at least I have excuses besides laziness this time ^_^
Well, at the beginning of August, my mother decided she needed a real job, not just the uber-part time stuff with me and working for dad (mainly because she moved out of the house, but not going in to that). So, she gets a full-time job down in Chico. Leaving me in charge of both offices.
I am now running a mini-storage, managing about 12 rentals, doing the bookkeeping and payroll for both of those, and also taking care of the phones and mailings for my dad's fraternal financial business (note to self: must make Thrivent icon). On top of that, I'm trying to get my ass out of Butte, which should be completed by this spring. Hallelujah. So I'm taking 9 units of college, and now working over 30 hours a week. Add to that my World of Warcraft addiction, and you see where I've been.
At least I've still been writing, though mainly just fleshing out characters and actually building up the backstories and shit of some of my main characters. It's not much, but it's important and keeps me sane on the extremely high security computers my dad's company uses.
Paul and I are getting set for Y-Con as well. We've got our hotel booked (though not one of the Con hotels, it's just down the street), got our registration, and hopefully we'll have a car to get our butts down there. All that's left is figuring out what exactly to wear for cosplay (aka what i can talk paul into wearing around in public *grins*) and what we're doing for voluteering. Just a month and a half left! Woohoo!!!!!
