2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
2011: I'm doing great in nursing school and I think I'm doing better at staying close with my best friends.
2012: Graduated nursing school! I did it! Probably crappier at staying in touch with friends this year.
3. Did anyone close to you (or even you) give birth?
Dana did and her Lucia is so gorgeous. I want babies so badly, haha.
No one I can think of. Which is lucky because I want to be the one next!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one close to me this year...
Angel passed away. Still missing her a year later.
5. What countries did you visit?
Wisconsin is practically a different country. But no, none others.

What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
-straight A's in nursing school
-bringing more money in than I'm hemorrhaging out
-marriage. I have a potential- now we need to make it happen. : )

-still hoping for marriage! but at least engagement this upcoming year
-savings in the bank

My first weekend with Justin, passing finals in May, feeling like my heart would break in August, my road trips with Justin in August and December, getting my full wax (ouch!), Nadia's and Koffee Korner with Justin

Graduating nursing school, the moment I saw my name listed as an RN, the phone call I got offering me a job an a nurse, the loneliness I felt between June and July when Justin was gone, my first roller derby bout on Dec 9th, passing the Kaplan diagnostic, being so proud of Justin on November 29th, his graduate recital, the wine and cards against humanity party we hosted, the wonderful Sunday of Channukah party and drinking wine with Anderson, getting my very own dog Dexter and loving him, my heart breaking when Angel died.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
2011: Staying moved out. Finding the love of my life in the most unexpected place.
2012: Graduating nursing school, passing my boards, and getting a job!
9. What was your biggest failure?
2011: Not working enough and eating up all my savings.
2012: Not working OUT enough and not finding as much strength as I had thought during the infamous China trip.
10. What was the best thing you bought?
2011: The mini heater for my room. Brrrrr. Also possibly, plane tickets.
2012: My nursing license. Shit cost money. And the money it took to move down to DE. And my new computer!
11. Where did most of your money go?
2011: Oh god, the plane tickets...
2012: Not as many plane tickets. Mostly to rent and fun stuff this year.
12. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
2011: Falling in love with someone who really and truly loves me back. Having him fly here in January, spending time with him throughout the year, etc. Also, becoming a senior in nursing school.
2012: Loving Justin as deeply as I have and always will. Graduating nursing school, getting my RN, and getting a job!

i. Happier or sadder? Happier. I am with the most amazing man in the world and my future is here- I'm a nurse!

2011: More writing, more reading, more playing videogames, more working.
2012: More learning Chinese and more geocaching.

2011: A little less crying, less time missing what can't be there, and less stressing over money.
2012: Fewer motherfucking planes. Less missing Justin. Less loneliness. Less fear about the future and money.

2011: Men don't suck, completely, and rebounds are apparently the way to go. Whatever you pour your energy into, it'll produce something equally amazing!
2012: Patience. Patience, patience, patience. It hurts like a son of a bitch, but it pays off when it comes to getting what and who you want.
