china in my future
Wow! Another of my hunches came true. I had this crazy hunch that my friend Rani would help me to find a new desk, because the one I have in Philly right now sucks. And I got one! She didn't find one for me, exactly, but it was pretty cool how it all played out.
Rani and I scheduled a vanilla ice cream, fudge brownies, and Legally Blonde afternoon (lol) this past Saturday. Justin had asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner with him and some of his friends that evening and I said yes, thinking we'd be done by then. Unfortunately his friends could only eat dinner at 5, and the movie wasn't quite over. Out of respect to Rani, I said I'd pass and see him later, no big deal. The movie finished around 5:45 and Rani left so I had nothing to do for a while until Justin came back. So I looked on craigslist. There was a desk! $20!
And it was all thanks to Rani keeping me from going out to dinner. Lol!
This weekend was overall pretty great. Justin and I talked a little more about China and I think everything will be okay. We even talked about what will happen when he finishes his master's degree. By then, I'll have a year of experience in nursing. After that, jobs will be easy. Justin said he wants me to come to China with him to set up the business for a while... I think it'd be a lot of fun honestly. For the travel experience before kids and for the excitement of entrepreneurship!
I have my first critical care class tomorrow. Less than 2 month until the final!
