interesting opportunity
Having a sad day, but I think it's only because I didn't sleep well last night. That never ever puts me in a good mood. I'm just glad that Justin is coming home on Saturday and I don't have to work this weekend. I also did my taxes and I'm getting $1600 back! That means that I won't have to work as much (or at all!) this month or next month. Then April will be my last month, which means that it's already been paid for with my deposit on my room here. And I'll be able to put that towards May, so I'm still covered. Not too freaking bad!
I learned about an interesting opportunity today. My school nurse lady got a flyer in the mail about a summer camp specially geared toward kids with diabetes. They're hiring RNs to work there... not only that, but they're hiring graduate nurses! Meaning I could work there before I even take my boards and get my nursing license. I doubt I would be paid as much as a full nurse, but I might be paid more than I am as an aide at Lansdale. I might only be able to do 1 or 2 weeks, but that'd be awesome. I've always loved summer camp! And this would be fun for me, great for my resume, and (hopefully) excellent money. What more could I want??
Justin let it slip that he plans on going to China this summer and then also going to London to visit his friends Anna and Andy. I was like "Ah. That's okay, I didn't plan on seeing you much this summer anyway..." and he said "Oh, well, that's not true blah blah."
Bitch please. Your school year will be over in May, you'll be gone for 2 weeks or 3 in China, then at least 2 weeks in London. Then you'll go home to Wisconsin.
