Here comes the New Year...
Good morning, 2012! One of my big resolutions this year is to write more in my journal. Last year, I pretty much fell off the wagon in regard to that, and when I went to make my yearly review meme, it was so difficult to think of all the things I had done. I actually had to go through Facebook. Not as easy as you might think.
Plus, I do miss the self-reflection that comes with a journal. The ability to look back on things and review them is so precious. Writing makes the whole thing clearer.
Anyway, Molly and I had a great time hanging out last night. We both got a little buzzed on beers as we were writing an email to a friend of mine who I think she'd like. She's very shy when it comes to guys and I want to change that. I don't know if I can help her out as much as I'd like, but I wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't try every now and then. We'll see!
I missed Justin a lot last night. As I told him, it's never mattered to me in years past about who I'm with when the ball drops at midnight... but this year, I wanted it to be him badly and was sorry and sad that it wasn't. He was home in Wisconsin for it and I was home in PA. Maybe next year? Probably not, knowing him and his family. But I hope so.
