I must admit I was too embarressed to read it all the way. It is well written and designed and everything ... but ... I just could not finish. I choked really bad at the revelation moment, geeez. I can't even remember the last time I had been caught so off guard by something ... written. Guess this also makes you an excellent writter.

That's a great reaction, actually! I mean, I don't want to upset anybody, but it's powerful to see that a story can work on a reader like that.

I could only imagine Joker using smutty videotaping for evil, so it was so much fun to write. I wanted to write sex, and to have a hopefully surprising reveal. Mostly I just took care that Batman wasn't sadistic, but tricked into "rape," and that the Joker was shown as doing whatever it took -- including sacrificing himself -- to make Batman appear hypocritical. Do I feel bad for Batman? No...it was too much fun to see the situation from the Joker's perspective and plan it the way he would. Of course it's a horrible thing to do, but makes great tension between them!

Followed your link here from my journal and I had to comment on this one. I remember it from my last August "read anything Batman" phase. Heh, this fic is great. It's well-written, hot, deliciously twisted, and presents the classic themes of their relationship in an interesting new angle.

...and the twist is AWESOME. Very very well described. I could feel my stomach drop at the "oh snap" moment. Heehee very good. Totally something the Joker would do. The end is fantastic too. I love that he just bolts, you can feel poor Bruce's panic. Time for the walk of shame, Bats!

Heh-heh-heh. I feel bad (in the fun way) for torturing Batman like this. It would be...devastating for him! Glad that the reveal worked. The "oh, snap" moment :)
