Moving on Tuesday
After a great year living in Petone we are moving into Kelburn, in Wellington proper on Tuesday. We've rented a place near the botanic gardens, so while we don't have any garden we have lots of green within a short stroll, and I should be able to walk to work too. The movers arrive to pack on Monday, and on Tuesday it's all go!
It's the Petone Rotary Fair today and we spend a couple of hours checking out all the stalls. Lots of stuff there, some fairground games, bouncy castles, a fire engine, lots of craft stalls supporting various charities, jams, preserves, driftwood sculptures, clothing... and it was packed too! Great to see so many people out and about on a showery day.
Tomorrow I'm doing the Round the Bays run... Never thought that I'd be running anywhere! I'll have sore legs tomorrow...
