Never a fantasy, towards the dream
For now just stay besides me
Don't leave
The flickering lights of the town, the mercy of time
Still no one knows the sound of the awakening bell
Ah, even if your singing voice is washed away by the rain
Innocently you'll come around again with gentle eyes
Never a fantasy, towards the dream
For now, kiss me
The world desires a map of light
That's why I continue to live on
※Like a paper cut on a fingertip
Though it doesn't hurt much, you must not forget it
※※The borderline of blue, indigo and purple
You can't compare them
※※※Either an iris in the hills or an iris near the waterside
In the end without getting rid of it there'll be blue skies
Here it's dry, just a wide plain
Even so, face forward and keep walking
The beauty of this love that even Van Gogh wouldn't be able to paint
Holding your hand, over and over, I'll draw it out
The spider thread dropping from the sky
I don't need that, I'm gonna fly
Cross over the arch of rain and embrace it

Never a fantasy, towards the dream
For now, kiss me
The world desires a map of light
And I continue to live on
※※※※cause i need u cause i love u
knock knock open the door
never give up, beautiful world
makin' a good thing better
Never a lie, release the sentimentality
Everywhere
Never a fantasy, this dream of you
For now, kiss me
※※※※※The world is deep in the sole my heart
That's why I continue to live on
Walking on the rainbow

Shige once again proves he is an amazing lyricist!
This song has a much deeper meaning than you can get from just the translation. I found two Japanese blogs that did a rather in-depth analysis of the song. For anyone interested I pulled out some key points that would help to understand the song better.
http://penguinkawaii.hatenablog.com/entry/2017/04/13/232341http://uq2aa.hatenablog.com/entry/2017/05/18/190343 ※These two lines mention "a pain that is not conveyed" and it's equating it to a papercut. Although the cut is small and may not hurt much, it still hurts and we shouldn't forget about it. If you did maybe you'd go and give other people papercuts and not know you're causing them pain. In the bigger picture it's comparing it to life experiences. By remembering things that hurt you, you in turn know to not do that to others.
※※The blue, indigo, purple - by drawing a "borderline" between these colors you're seperating them saying one is different from the other. The writer of the link gave an example about a mother who is "blue" and daughter who is "purple." The mother believe she is "blue" and that the world accepts "blue" as the correct way of being and insist her daugher also be "blue" but that clashes with how the daughter feels. The next line follows up that seperation is wrong and that the colors are different but each has it's own value therefore you can't compare them.
※※※The next two lines are saying even if you're from the countryside or the waterfront you're still an iris. You don't need to kill (ayamezu in Japanese, play on words) that different part of you to find a happy ending (blue skies).
ayame: blue iris that grows in the hills and fields
kakitsubata: blue iris that grows near waterfronts
※※※※The English versus of the song further expands the song. A person on the other side of the door is calling out to the singer. Saying they are needed just as they are, they don't need to change. Just by being themselves, they'll make the world better.
※※※※※Throughout the song it repeats that "The world desires a map of light." The singer believes himself to not be a part of that "light" and be able to change themselves to fit that "light." However in the last versus it ends with "The world is deep in the sole my heart." What the writer of that blog believe is that it's not that the world "desires light" but rather that world is shaped by each of us. That world that exists in our heart is what we contribute to forming "the world."
