A quick summary of what Koyashige said during the first episode. I'm watching this before work so I skipped the meat of the episode and only watched their talk parts.

Basically the first half talks about a girl who is the slump of her life.  Here Koyashige are asked about their own slumps.  They comment that right now would be the slump and discuss

in the beginning, insecure koyashige was like awww... so sad

and then the ryopi leaving story both touched and broke my heart! so sad and yet, im happy everything worked out for both things (insecurities and ryopi leaving)

Maybe it's odd, but I thought that they felt the opposite... Like Shige was all mad & unforgiving (and negative as he is) while Kei-chan was sad like hell, of course, but did not feel what he had said...

I hope in 5 years they will be able to say what all of them really felt at that time.

I'm actually not surprised that Koyama was the one that got upset and not so much Shige. Koyama is a bundle of emotion and Shige is a bundle of logic. Logic says, this is sad but there is nothing to be done, they have made their decision and I accept it, now to figure out what to do from here. I feel like the hardest part for Shige would have been trying to figure out what NEWS would be after ryopi left

not at all. I completely agree. I was never a Ryo fan but I really admired him for all the work he did. Even if NEWS was a little inactive or K8 was a little inactive I didn't mind as long as he was getting enough rest rather than damaging his health. I do think that Kei and Shige are a good match, they balance each other out. ^^

me too, I am also someone who cannot be mad at them for leaving for similar reasons. Well, at times I get a bit angry at little things like P doing radio. I'd yell into the air, "see! you can do radio. why in the world have you not showed up on your group's radio shows all these years!" but then I'll be like, "well it's good. you're now learning to be entirely responsible for your own success, and that includes trying harder to do well, to promote yourself and to sometimes try new things."

anyways, I'm glad that there's a new thing for KoyaShige. I also felt that the two of them must do something to be at a balance with Tegomass and their work.

I tell myself that 4nin NEWS still has chance, even though at times I worry about what Jimusho thinks and plans for them. 4nin NEWS still has a lot of room for improvement, and I hope they can improve and shine, and have more people approve of them and like them.
