Yesterday we really enjoyed our lazy day. What was really nice is that the house was clean since we had company on Friday. We all layed in bed in the morning and watched Jumanji. Jonathan too. He wat TOTALLY into it. It was SO cute. Tony and I hadn't seen it before, and it was a decent movie. We all just hung out, and goofed off. By the afternoon everyone was kinda tired of being bums, so Tony went out and started raking the backyard so that he could make a leaf pile for the kids to jump into. I went for a walk, and dropped a necklace I had borrowed from my mom off at her house, and walked back. I took about a billion pics of the kids and Tony in the leaves. I had dinner in the crock pot, so that was nice, not having to worry about what we were going to have for dinner. I tried a new recipe. It was for a london broil. It was ok, nothing special, but, it was something different. Aislinn didn';t like it, so I told her to eat her potatoes and her broccolli she would be done. She got pissed becasue her last piece of brocolli had a little bit of the sauce on it, and I told her to eat it anyway. She chucked it across the table in anger. (Arby's anyone?) The minute she did it, she knew she was in trouble. So, I made her eat every last bite of her meat. She gave me very little fussing. I was expecting a big war, but, I think she knew what she did was wrong. She ate it, and she then apologized for throwing her food. You could have knocked me over with a FEATHER. I think the whole keeping my temper thing is rubbing off. I mean, I haent been 100% on it, but, I have been better. She has been much more agreeable, and less prone to tantrums in the last few weeks. She still shows great frustrations when angry, but, I'll tackle that later.
Today it has been rainy and COLD. The kids went out for a bit after school, but, it started to rain right away, which, in turn ruined my dinner plans for tonight.
I made my grocery list, and my menu for the next two weeks. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with the cell company. Nothing big or exciting today.
