"Ne, minna!"
Daiki suddenly found himself entering a room full of busy--or more likely, minding their own business--JUMP member. Yabu was helping Ryutaro with his History homework. Keito was--again--sending his regards to his friends back in England through his cellphone, via e-mail. Takaki was sleeping one of the two couches. On the other couch, Yamada was reading a book while resting his head on the napping Yuto's shoulder, with Yuto's hand wrapped around Yamada's shoulder. Hikaru was feeding Inoo from Inoo's second bento box. While Chinen, he was playing a--yet another--game on his Nintendo DS.
"..Eh..?" Nobody paid any attention to Daiki.
"..Ano...Minna..."
". . . . . . ."
"Do anyone know any ballroom dances?" Daiki finally asked, almost desperately.
All the JUMP members finally looked up with, "Eeeh!?" waking up Yuto and Takaki.
Daiki sighed and started to explain, "Ano...We're having a ballroom dancing contest at school...and...err...my class sort of 'volunteered' for me, unwilling as I am..."
Ryutaro raised both his eyebrows, but went back to doing his homework. Yabu patted Ryutaro's hair, and gave Daiki a small smile with 'sorry!' all over it before teaching Ryutaro again. Yamada gave Daiki his 'I'm sorry' eyes as Yuto pulled him closer and closed his eyes once more. Takaki ignored this and went back to sleep even before Daiki started explaining. Inoo and Hikaru continued to eat their meals. Keito looked around the room and saw the other members. He sighed. "Gomene, Dai-chan," he apologized before putting on his earphones.
Daiki couldn't do much now. He sighed and turned to the door. Before he could put a hand to turn the knob, someone suddenly said from behind him, "Ne, Dai-chan, I can try to help you."
Surprised, Daiki turned around to see an innocent smiling Chinen in front of him. "Eh? Chii? You know ballroom dancing?" Daiki asked a bit wide-eyed.
"Anooo~" Chinen put on his 'thinking face'. "They taught us some dance steps and a few dances in school for Music and Physical Education, so I know some steps, and a few dances." Chinen's smile became wider.
". . ." Daiki just sared at him.
Chinen frowned. Sadness and hurt were suddenly evident in his eyes. "If you don't want to, then it's okay, Dai-chan."
"Iie!" Daiki suddenly said. "It's just that...I'm a little surprised they teach those in your school, but they just give random instructions in mine. They don't really let us dance them during Physical Education. Suddenly, they'd want a ballroom dancing competition. Smart of them to think so." Daiki sighed. "When can you start helping me?"
"I'm not really busy after our shoots and rehearsals. So anytime you want me to."
Daiki looked at his feet, a bit embarassed to ask, but he was kind of desperate. "Do you mind if...we start later tonight?"
"Hai~!" Chinen replied enthusiastically; it made Daiki look up at him. Chinen's bright smile made Daiki's blood rush to his head. He felt suddenly warm. He kept on staring.
"Arioka-kun!"
"Ah!" Chinen suddenly exclaimed, causing Daiki to snap out of it. "Dai-chan! They're calling for you!"
Daiki turned a tad bit redder. He called out, "Hai! Gomene!" He rushed outside the room.
Chinen skipped back to where he was seated before, and continued to play his game.
Takaki was now a bit awake. He whispered, "Dai-chan likes Chii, ne?"
Yamada replied, "Un." While Yuto just gave a tired nod.
"I thought so," Takaki said before going back to his slumber.

After their photoshoot and short rehearsal, the rest of JUMP were taking their showers, packing their things, and getting ready to leave. Yabu had to leave last today to be informed of the intructions for next rehearsals. Ryutaro was kind enough to wait for him, patiently reading a manga on the couch. Hikaru and Inoo already left about five minutes ago. Keito was already putting on his backpack. Yamada was finishing up his showering, while Yuto was buying strawberry juice for them outside. Daiki was last to leave their rehearsald studio. When he finally entered the room, he was greeted by Chinen.
"Ne, Dai-chan!"
"Hai?"
"Can we practice at my house tonight?"
"Eh?"
"My parents are out for the week, and my sister's with them. As much as I also wanted to go," Chinen looked down sadly, but brightened up a few moments later. "I couldnt because of work. But, I'm also happy to be with the rest of JUMP, ne! Especially with Dai-chan!"
Daiki didnt know what to say. He turned red once more. He kept quiet until Chinen asked again. "So, is my house okay?"
"Uh...Hai," Daiki finally managed to say.
"And since it's just the two of us," Chinen continued. "There'll be no distraction, and no one will disturb us. Right, Dai-chan?"
..just the two of us...
Daiki turned even redder. "H-hai..." He stammered.
Chinen gave him another one of his innocent smile.
