Hm. As Momoshiro has willed it, I am pleased to report that I am once more settled back in Germany after a painfully long flight. While it is nice to be home, I do find it rather odd that the New Years festivities have long-since died down and everyone has already returned to life as usual. It is a far cry from what is customary to me.
On the other hand, it was quite a treat to experience Christmas, here. It is not so much about spending time with a significant other as getting together with family and exchanging gifts. I had the good fortune of spending the time with a friend and her family who insisted I at least have dinner with them.
But, with the holiday season behind me, I must once more buckle down on my training. Likewise, I know the third years are soon to be facing exams. Study hard. I hope to see you at graduation, this spring.
