A VERY HAPPY 16TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE BEST PEOPLE ON EARTH.
So, im driven by my feels and im forced to make a post right now.
A VERY HAPPY 16TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE BEST PEOPLE ON EARTH.
Im just thinking from where should i start..
First of all, lemme start with the collage i made for #5x16
I never thought that someone could affect me THIS much, until i met THESE 5 AWESOME MEN.
Awesome, beautiful inside-out, dorks, idiots, amazing, enthusiastic, and what not.
So it was exactly 16 years ago, johnny-jiisan made these 5 messy people collaborate and called them ARASHI.
At that time, Aiba-chan said "lets take over the world by a storm". Who knew after all these years, what he said will come true.
So what is it that made them this popular?
I ask myself this question quite a times, and i always answer myself with a satisfactory answer. Its not just their closeness, its their willingness to stay together. To give importance to ARASHI more than anything else.
Today morning, i was watching IZA NOW tour, where in the MC, they were getting excited that a text-book had printed something about their single "Tomadoi Nagara" and aiba-chan was saying how much he is happy, they are slowly becoming "Personalities".
Ahahaha this one!! XD
When i look back, i smile. How much they've worked hard, consistently, so that they are now at this position.
Aiba-chan said it during 24h TV 2004, "Lastly,the dream that we have been always aiming for, "to be at the top", let's make it come true." I smile even now, i feel so PROUD to accept the fact that they indeed are at the TOP at the moment. It is evident as well as obvious that they dominate everthing and everywhere. Its not just them, its of course because of their fans who are so awesome to support them with all their might (Yeah, that includes me and you xD)
Its not just because of their flawless, beautiful faces that im here.. its because they are beautiful inside-out. I would like to quote someone who i follow on twitter, she tweeted "Arashi are a band, who parents will want their child to idolise."
They've taught me lessons of life.
Sho-chan taught me to be hard-working, no matter what, because hard-work ALWAYS pays off in the end.
Aiba-chan taught me that in any kind of circumstances, we should not give up, you never know what future has in for you.
Ohno-kun taught me to do keep on doing stuff that you have interest in, one day you will be acknowledged for it.
Matsujun taught me how to lead, how to be kind no matter what, and how to react in different situations.
Nino taught me the way of life, how to deal with things and never think of one-self as weak.
Over and after 16 years, its obviously their own hard-work which is paying off. Not only they are known as THE NATIONAL IDOLS, but also they have their own day, ARASHI DAY, which is to be celebrated for the first time this year on Sep 19.
Topping every kind of ranking here and there, it has become a standard for them. But to set this standard high, undeniable amount of dedication has been put by them.
Not only middle-aged and teenage girls are their fans, but their fandom also comprises of teenage guys, middle-aged men, young children to babies all the way to grannies.
One thing i love about them is how they take every single life decisions by janken xD
I call them Janken-dorks xD
They are absolutely not afraid of showing their real-selves on the national platform.
I have few evidences to support my statement xD
What do they do to give out an affinity? To be honest, they do nothing, they just be their true-selves (which they enjoy a lot, we all know xD)
I love how sho emerges out to be the mama of the group xD
I love it how they are a perfect mix of adorkables, sexy people with manly personality.
And lemme tell you how much i admire their friendship.
They definitely are a different genre called "Arashi"
They have a bond which is very unique.
They are not normal human beings xD
They are from PLANET ARASHI XD
And GEEZ they are too beautiful and photogenic <3
And it isnt possible that i end without counting their biggest achievements till date :P because i love to brag about them
Their Official Fan club members as of Sep 15 is 1.79 MILLION, larger than any organisation in japan.
They've been stealing Artist of the year awards (of different orginasations) without any unfair means (they dont release 10 versions of a single thing, neither they handover tickets along with cds to enhance sales).
Known as the most influential artists in Japan, to the point that it is considered as a SOCIAL PHENOMENON.
Appointed as national tourism ambassadors representing japan at diffrent levels.
Once, Tokyo Tower was illuminated by arashi colors paying respect to them, later, even fuji TV station did it.
First Artist to have performed for 6 consecutive years at The National Olympic Stadium..to the point that it is often referred to as playground of Arashi.
Their concerts are considered to be the PERFECTION.
Arashi Jet, enough said.
Invited by governor of Hawaii to hold concert on their land, and gave Arashi an honor by declaring Sep 19 as ARASHI DAY.
Holding Kouhaku as the White team hosts for 5 consecutive years. (well this is something)
Even the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe said that he wishes some of Arashi's popularity rubs off of the government.
Invited by Miyagi's governor as well to hold concerts in their land.
Have been the main artist covering the 24h TV for 4 years.
Organising Waku-Waku Gakkou gaining support from everywhere.
