life has been pretty amazing. through it all...i can still smile. good weekend, too =)
hope you guys had a wonderful Easter.
but...i've been thinking. driving to linda's house today to go back to austin was like..literally driving down memory lane. i had not been on the road to go to austin academy in so long...and every corner, every turn, every light...i remember it like it was yesterday. all these memories of middle school : who i was, who my friends were, what i did. we've all changed so much.
then revisiting high school and reassessing how things have become situated. my first year of college is almost over. every prosaic observance...my little brother is eight. i'm in college. my friend is expecting. i'm turning twenty. is just a reminder of how things have changed. how time moves on. how the world turns.
it's just slightly dumfounding.
yet... There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
maybe the point is...i really don't want to grow up. but, the sun rises and sets without my consent so...=) just live life with no regrets. and always be cheerful.
much love, all.
