howdy guys =D
welps...this semster is nearing the end. isn't that crazy? just a few more weeks, a few more tests..and the first semester of my college experience is almost completed. well this semester hasn't been ideal for various reasons, but it's been a good one nonetheless.
my head's been spinning, my heart's been racing. where do things go from here?
I've been getting closer to God, which is a blessing. I had been hoping college would aide in my relationship with Him. all this time alone and so far from home, who else can I depend on? He is my best friend. But today at church I realized yet again that I'm so far from where I want to be...so far from who I want to be. so far from me.
So I'm not feeling very well; it started Thursday. I don't believe I'm truly sick, but my head hurts, my eyes ache, and I have no energy. I've also lost my voice =\ oyy.
So Friday night was the VSA Date Auction in which my roomie was an auctionee. How cute. Ysabelle, Jaymie, and I had gone to the mall before to look for something to wear and I'm pretty sure I spent $60. That's what you get for buying things full price. -Sigh-. No more. It's okay, we looked good =)
And due to the stress of our mall hastedness [we were in a rush..we had like 20 minutes to get ready!], we had to dash to the auction, which was unnecessary because they started 1 hr late. >l I admit, I got a little bit irked. Oh well..so us three girls went to the afterparty early because we didn't want to pay cover. Oh yeah...then people showed up about a hour and a half later. We were just chilling [in the bathroom a lot]...while this black guy kept...idk what he was doing. ihhh.
However, it was fun! It was extremely hot [literally]. But Jamie dancing on me = ow ow. Anyway, Jaymie, Ysabelle, and I ended up at home around 4ish due to confusion. It was a long day.
It was fun, but I think I'm good with parties for a while. I'm just not that kind of person. New Year's Eve sounds like a good time to party. You'll see me out then.
I slept all day Saturday due to tiredness and sickness. A visit from Jennifer Wong, Kyle, and Andrew [and Kenneth, Ysabelle, and Jamie] and later Brandon and Ziyad. I went to sleep right after that.
Today was good ole' church. Jamie and I went to EV Free for the first time, met some new people...and ate lunch with them! Weird. I can't decide whether I'm shy or not. hmm. Oh, and meeting people with a hoarse voice probably isn't the best first impression. Oh well.
This week will be a good week. I hope you guys have a wonderful November.
