(Evil) Ice Storm
Our back yard looks like Jack Frost had a psychotic episode.
We lost power last night at midnight and it's not back on yet. Power Co said 3 hours last night, now they're saying 3 days. No power means no water either, so we'll have to go out and acquire some somewhere today.
Not sure how long it will take to thaw out the car or if the roads are safe. Just heard on my pager that trees are down, blocking the road, in another part of town.
I hope that sound I just heard is my cats being goofy in the other room and not the sound of pipes freezing. (Edit: It was just the cats. Without the pump running, all the water has already drained back out of the pipes.)
