(no subject)
So I decided to change the format of my journal... wow, did that take forever! They have so many choices with arranging colors and fonts and texts!! And of course, I happen to be a perfectionist so everthing HAS to be perfect and the colors have to be just right... suffice to say, it took me several hours to finish.
No matter! I'm having a great day! TGIF, and I have a four day weekend! I work for the government (don't read too much into that, I'm just an intern!) and the State decided to give Monday and Tuesday off, with pay, to all State employees! Doesn't that just rock!!!
Have I mentioned that I find my job incredibly ironic? See my job is paid for by tax dollars, so basically all the money my parents, my aunt, and I pay in taxes every year gives me my paycheck every two weeks. Ah yes, the irony. My parents essential help pay my paycheck! Well... as long as I get paid, you'll hear no complaints from me. ;)
So, in four days it's the fourth of July and I'm SO excited!!! For anyone who doesn't celebrate the Fourth of July, you really should! It's a blast! Fireworks, barbeques, parties, fairs... you name it, we do it on the Fourth! My best friend and I are headed out to the lake outside town to watch the big city fireworks display on Tuesday night! (grins) It'll be great!!!
