New idea

I've decided to go to bartending school and work as a bartender when I turn 21.My best friend's cousin works as a bartender, and recently bought a new car, $16,000 all at once, in cash. She is also going to Europe for a month this summer. Clearly, I am in the wrong profession. I do not like my job. I don't get paid enough. I put up with it because it's close and easy and I am a lazy person. But, I will soon be paying rent and such, so I think $395 for bartending school (plus job placement and free refresher courses) would be a worthwhile investment.

I know. I will have to deal with annoying drunk people. However, I feel like, for one thing, I can understand them because I quite enjoy the pastime myself. I don't think they'll bother me that much, except perhaps the ones that don't understand the word "no." But there'll be security guards. I don't get a lot of attention, so I won't mind getting some; I can put up with the leers for the honest smiles. I get the leers anyway, I might as well be paid handsomely for them in a place that I know is safe.

It's not a done deal yet, but I'm looking into it.
