 1) How old were you?
THEN: 15
NOW: 20

2) Where did you go to school?
THEN: Arroyo. And I actually did like it. Most of the time.
NOW: SFSU. Didn't see that coming.

3) Where did you work?
THEN: I worked at Eden Hospital in the summer as a receptionist. Actually, the assistant to the receptionist, lol.
NOW: Lakeshore, aka HELL it is so fucking hot in there. I actually had customers asking me if I was okay today. They kept telling me to take a break and get some water.

4) Where did you live?
THEN: My parents house
NOW: Sadly, still here. Not for long :)

5) How was your hairstyle?
THEN: MUCH shorter. And not very cute, lol.
NOW: I am catching up to Rapunzel. And I love it.

6) Did you wear braces?
THEN: I got them off in 6th grade I think? So I don't think I even had a retainer anymore.
NOW: Nope. My teeth aren't very straight, but they'll do.

7) Did you wear contacts?
THEN: Nope, I have 20/15
NOW:  I have the best vision of anyone I know (we tested it, amazingly enough).

8) What was your dream life?
THEN: Wow. Um... Be a perfect Christian girl, be Valedictorian, marry someone nice and have kids. And maybe be a writer or something
NOW: Travel the world, learn lots of interesting things, love/be loved by good people, make great art, fall passionately in love, have two or three kids.

9) Who was your best friend?
THEN: Stephanie Miller, Cyndi Davis, Michelle Hobbs, and Sarah Henning
NOW: Tara Ward and Sarah Bollinger. I hope these ones stick around for life.

10) Which of your pets was still alive?
THEN: Both my dogs
NOW: We had to put Brandy down :(

11) Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend?
THEN: Cory Westbrook. He's a really great guy... just not for me.
NOW: Single and fabulous, thank you. I definitely don't want a boyfriend until I've had a few crazy flings.

12) Who was your celebrity crush?
THEN: Um, Leonardo DiCaprio? Oh, you know, it was probably John Mayer by then.
NOW: I still love those two, lol. And James Marsden. Mmmm.

13) Who was your regular-person crush?
THEN: Cory, John, and Sonny. And Andrew.
NOW: Ugh, this one guy. I'm thinking it might be a case of misplaced hormones though. Like, there were no other eligible guys, otherwise I would not be into him. But I am. So...  humph.

14) How many piercings did you have?
THEN: None
NOW: Just my ears. I don't really like piercings

15) How many tattoos did you have?
THEN: None.
NOW: None, but I am seriously considering two designs. I just don't know if I'll want them for life. How could I ever know? So we'll see about that.

16) What was your favourite band/singer?
THEN: Hm, John Mayer and Maroon 5, I think.
NOW: I still love them. But also all the oldies: Beatles, Stevie, Hendrix, Santana, Yes, Eagles, Doobies, Allmans, etc. etc.

17) Had you smoked cigarettes?
THEN: Nope
NOW: I prefer to remain cancer-free and smelling delicious, thanks.

18) Had you got drunk?
THEN: Lol, no. I thought I never would, because the Bible said not to.
NOW: Oh yeah. I am a champion drinker. I play Kings and Flip Cup like a pro. If only I was better at Beer Pong.

19) Had you DRIVEN?
THEN: I had my permit, and was freaking out my mom every time I took the wheel.
NOW: All the time. I like driving, but I can't afford gas anymore, so it's not as fun anymore.

20) What were you like in school?
THEN: I was a nerd and aspiring Valedictorian, a jock (Team Captain and All-Star Team), and an art geek in Film classes. I was so busy, that I was like Diane in "Say Anything" - nobody knew me at all, they just knew of me.
NOW: I'm still quiet. Hopefully I'll graduate with honors though, that's my main goal right now.

21) Looking back are you where you thought you'd be in five years' time?
No, not at all. I thought I'd be at Stanford or something, living in the dorms and playing basketball. It couldn't be much more different. But I'm happy. I sometimes wish I'd chosen different things, had listened to my head more instead of my heart, which was completely blinded by an unfortunate love. But I also think I'm in a good place, even if my pride is a little hurt. Too bad I'm really really proud.
