Guilty Pleasures
There's nothing quite like watching Beauty and the Beast in my silk pjs with a heated chocolate chip cookie.
Also, there's nothing quite like going to work and getting complimented and hit on incessantly until I'm floating. Definitely an ego boost.
Lol, I love the contrast of my very adult happiness from work, and now sitting here watching my favorite childhood movie to end the night. My dad asked me the other day, "Aren't you too old for Disney?" Never.
Gaston is probably my favorite villain: "Lafoo I'm afraid I've been thinking..." "A dangerous pastime --" "I know!." :)
My favorite song/moment from any Disney movie ever is in this one. Right after Gaston proposes, and Belle walks out of the house and starts singing. She runs up onto a hill overlooking the valley, arms outstretched. "I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I could tell. And for once it might be grand, to have someone understand. I want so much more than they've got planned." I could always identify with those lines and with Belle's character, more than any other Disney princess.
And yes, I can quote the entire movie.
