Supernatural

Hi people
If you are still around

At work during lunch I've gotten my co-workers addicted to Supernatural. We've just got our hands on the Season 3 DVDs and are watching them. I'm totally not spoiled so it's fun. I though maybe it would be fun for some of you to relive the episodes as I watch them for the first time.

So the boys let out a whole bunch of demons. That's seems pretty bad. But so far mass death doesn't seem to be happening. I'm up to the episode with the snow white coma girl who kills people like fairy tales. That one was pretty funny. Especially in the opening when it dawns on you that the guys are the three little pigs and then you kinda realize they are beating you over the head with it and then you don't feel quite as clever. :)

At least I think that's the last episode I saw. I know for sure it ended with Sam killing the cross-roads demon. I felt that was unnecessary.

A few other thoughts I've had - Dean's whole "I'm about to die so I'm going to party and not care about anything" attitude is a bit annoying. But y'know - you can't stay mad at Dean. Or at least I can't. He's so lovable. Especially when he thought he had a kid!! How cute was that. I loved that kid too.

And I do not like this Ruby girl. Seems to me they are hinting at her being the devil or something. I don't know what that's about. But she's not cool. I also don't understand from a meta point of view why the boys have the colt back working again. I mean - from a writing perspective - that's no fun. One-shot-kills are really not all that exciting to me. I like latin-reading earth-shattering exorcisms myself. But that's ok - they've only had it a little while so far. I don't hate it yet.

My co workers and I thought a lot about that whole thing where all of the mom's friends died. Now - sometimes issues are complicated because the writers are dumb. So it could always be that. But we think it is unrealistic that the boys would not know this before. How could the mom's friends all die without a father who's obsessed with figuring out what happened to his wife putting that together? Seriously. That just doesn't make sense. The only thing we could come up with is that the people who died are people who knew something John didn't, like that Sam wasn't John's. Cuz I've been waiting for someone to say that since season 1. But honestly, that doesn't really make sense either. John would've noticed even if he didn't understand the reason why they died.

Oh and I wish they would stop calling it a war. It's not a war if there's no organization or goal. There's just more, worse stuff out there than before. Shush with all of the war nonsense.

Don't spoil me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love
Aisling
