Too much to do

I sit in this horrid heat (anything over 85 is horrid to me) realizing I have 5 days of menus to make and the shopping to begin, and I haven't even got food for myself in the house (save the full pantry downstairs, but that involves cooking/thus heating the house even more.

anyway, I need suggestions for foodstuffs to serve at Dexcon

so far I have Viennese Gulash, Hummus and a variety of pasta dished planned. Any ideas are welcome. Rememer, everything has o be, for the most part, pre-prepared.

Otherwise, spend the holoday weekend in Saranac Lake, NY withe the 'rents and sister. The weather was perfect. I didn't swelter or freeze, and I got to see lotsa nature.

I hope it rains

and next week is a 'vacation?'
