[meguri] Keikarou & Mannequin Five Hunt
My friend E-chan asked me to take her to Keikarou a while back, and I finally had the chance to do it, so we headed over there and it was a lot busier than I thought it would be!
While we were standing in line I noticed a lady bug on the pansies outside of the restaurant *cues "My Girl"* and I had to take a picture since I was at Masamune-kun's home!
I probably looked weird cuz when I stood up to take the picture, the ladybug totally went down into the leaves so I was hovering over the planters for a few minutes. haha.
The daily special was Salmon and Tofu and because I had had it before (and it's not really my favorite), I decided to get the Ume Lunch Set. I forgot how much food the lunch sets were!!
Came with the cold chicken salad, soup, main dish (cashew shrimp), mabo tofu, rice and pumpkin-man.
And for desert, I HAD TO HAVE my age goma dango.
I was completely stuffed, and I managed to resist buying the spring strap... although, if Masaki Mama decides to sell these champagne... I may have to buy them!
They were so busy today I didn't really get to chat with Masaki Mama, but she did notice me right when I walked into the restaurant and was like, "OH! Long time no see!" And she totally said my name (after looking at my order) and actually said it afterwards, too when we were talking! *cheers for her momentarily remembering my name!* We didn't get to chat like we usually do but she did make sure to tell me to come again soon when we left... then I had to head over to Yurakucho to meet up with S and M. *snickers at S&M *
We were doing our Mannequin Five Scavenger Hunt!! This time we hit up Hankyu Men's and it was a bit difficult to do it this time since it's only men's stores... but we managed to find quite a few things!
Before I got there, M&S found Mannequin #1's jacket at Neil Barret on the 2nd floor.
I think it was around 180,000 yen! I smell Oh-chan. lol.
We found quite a few pieces of Mannequin #2's outfit.
We found the right hand bracelets first... actually, we found it in two places, one was on the 6th floor at Beyond Cool, and the other place was on the 7th floor at VOWEL.
It's made by Chan Luu and was around 15000yen... I think...
at the very end of our adventure, we FINALLY found the blue cardigan. We had actually walked past it once, but came from another side, so we totally missed it because I was so busy commenting about a pair of pants that I thought was a skirt at first, but was actually hakama-like pants. haha.
The cardigan is from Yohji Yamamoto and is 65000 yen. I think I saw J in this store during the preview... maybe... must watch again...

Mannequin 3... hmm... yeah.
We found the coat, tie AND shirt (didn't take a picture of the shirt) all in one store. *smells sho-chan... or Oh-chan!?* They were all in New Yorker by Keita Maruyama store.
I think the Coat was 48000 yen... I didnt check the price of the tie or shirt.
Mannequin #4's outfit... oh man...
We managed to find the necklace and shirt, which were both in Lanvin en Bleu on the 6th floor... but I didn't snap a picture of them...
Then I actually fell in love with the blue version of the crazy hat when I spotted it in override on the 7th floor... too bad it was 10000 yen.
Mannequin #5 was pretty easy.
We found the shoes, belt and tie (that were matching) at Destrad on the 7th floor.
Oh! and I totally fail because I didn't sneak a picture of it, but #5's outfit was also from New Yorker. The jacket and vest and pants.... we totally saw them all together... lol. orz
Part of the way through our search, we stopped for cheesecake and smoothies. I had a passion fruit strawberry one. it was VERY good.
After we got tired of hunting, we headed to Ginza to shop around and tried to go to the NEWS ZERO exhibit, but it was closed :(
So we headed to Forever 21 and found nothing... then had Tendon for dinner.
That was the first time I had a hanjuku egg tempura! It was REALLY good!!!!
Then S-chan ditched M-chan and I to see Kageyama... so M-chan and I went to Tokyo Dome so we could get slurpees. I shared my Age Dango omiyage with here there and we chatted for a while before we went home.
